Privacy Notice

This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website, what we use it for, and how you can exercise your rights over it, in accordance with Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) — the law that applies to this practice, which is based in Mexico.

Note

This is a generic privacy notice template, pending review and completion by Gabriela Esquitín with the specific legal details of her practice (for example, a business address if applicable, data transfer details, or any additional requirements from her legal advisor). It should not be treated as a final legal document until that review happens.

Who is responsible for your personal data

Psic. Gabriela del Pilar Esquitín González (Professional License / Cédula Profesional No. 13525558), as the data controller, is responsible for collecting and using your personal data in accordance with this notice. You can reach her at psic.gabrielaesquitin@gmail.com.

Personal data we collect

Depending on which part of the site you interact with, we may collect the following personal data:

  • Identification and contact details: name, email address and, optionally, a WhatsApp number — when you join a waitlist (for the app, workshops, or free resources), book a session, or write to us via WhatsApp or email.
  • Data derived from your browsing: the page a form was submitted from, and general technical data collected by web analytics tools (see "Cookies and analytics" below).

No sensitive personal data (such as health data) is collected through this site's forms. Any information related to your therapeutic process is handled directly in session, under the confidentiality and professional secrecy standards of psychological practice, and is not stored on this website.

Purposes of processing

Your personal data is used for the following purposes:

  • Responding to your contact or booking requests.
  • Notifying you once the service, workshop, or resource you requested becomes available (app waitlist, workshops, or free resources).
  • Administrative follow-up on your session or booking process.
  • Secondarily, understanding in aggregate what content and channels are of interest to site visitors (web analytics), which is not essential to the relationship between you and Gabriela and which you can object to.

Data transfers

Your data is not sold or shared with third parties for purposes other than those described in this notice. We use technology service providers (such as the site's hosting provider, the database where form submissions are stored, and web analytics tools) solely as data processors, to operate the site and its contact forms — not for their own purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This site may use cookies and similar technologies (for example, Google Analytics and/or Meta Pixel) to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used and which channels (social media, search, etc.) bring visitors. These tools may collect technical data about your browser and device. You can configure your browser to reject cookies; this will not prevent you from using the site, though some features may be limited.

Your rights over your data (ARCO rights)

Under Mexican law, you have the right to Access your personal data, Rectify it if inaccurate, Cancel it when you consider it no longer necessary for the purposes described, and Object to its use for specific purposes (known as "derechos ARCO"). You may also withdraw any consent you have given us.

To exercise any of these rights, write to psic.gabrielaesquitin@gmail.com including your name, the right you wish to exercise, and the details that identify you in our records (for example, the email you used to submit a form). We will respond to your request within a reasonable time.

Changes to this privacy notice

This privacy notice may be updated to reflect changes to the site, applicable regulations, or our data-handling practices. Any changes will be published on this same page along with an updated date.

Last updated: September 2026.
